REVIEW Oxibendazole is a benzimidazole antiparasitic drug used to protect against roundworms, strongyles, threadworms, pinworms and lungworm infestations in horses and domestic pets. It binds to beta-tubulin and prevents the polymerization of the microtubules, impairing intracellular transport mechanisms and interfering with protein synthesis.
