REVIEW
 Ethopabate, a derivative of 4-aminosalicylic acid, is a supplementary drug that improves the coccidiostatic effect of amprolium and nicarbazin in order to cure coccidiosis in chickens. It possesses intrinsic coccidiostatic potency of a low level. It is an inhibitor of folate metabolism.
