REVIEW
 Leucomycin tartrate is a macrolide antibiotic prepared via fermentation using Streptomyces kitasatoensis and used in human and veterinary medicine. It can be used to cure infections caused by gram positive bacteria, mycoplasma and leptospira. In addition it can improve feed conversion ratio and significantly promote growth of pigs and poultry. It prevents intestinal and respiratory diseases in poultry and necrotizing enteritis in pigs caused by diarrhea treponema, clostridium and pneumonia mycoplasma.
