REVIEW Tranilast is an antiallergic drug for bronchial asthma. Tranilast exerts its anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenesis effects through inhibition of expression of MCP-1, TGF-β, and antigen-induced IL-2 lymphocyte responsiveness.
