REVIEW
 Erdosteine is a mucolytic and a thiol derivative developed for the treatment of chronic obstructive bronchitis, including acute infective exacerbation of chronic bronchitis. Erdosteine modulates mucus production and viscosity and increases mucociliary transport, thereby improving expectoration.
